The following table lists the roles provided by enterprise workspaces:

Workspace Access

workspaces_access_role

  • Enables accessing workspaces.

  • Intended for end users and for workspace system administrators.

  • Required for creating shared and personal workspaces.

Personal Workspace Owner

workspaces_personal_role

Enables creating and using a personal workspace.

Shared Workspace Creation

workspaces_shared_role

Enables creating shared workspaces.

Workspace System Administration

workspaces_system_admin_role

Enables performing workspace system administration tasks, such as:

  • Managing and monitoring workspaces

  • Managing workspace templates

  • Adding styles to portal themes

  • Transporting workspaces and workspace templates

Workspace Content Administration

workspaces_content_admin_role

Enables creating module templates.

The portal Content Admin role is required for creating module templates that are based on portal content.

  • We recommend that the workspace content administrator is the same person as the portal content administrator.
