When the enterprise workspaces add-on of SAP NetWeaver Portal is installed, the top-level navigation bar in your portal includes an entry named Workspaces containing the Workspace Directory. This is your entry point to all of the workspaces and their content.

The Workspace Directory provides you with access to a wide range of workspaces. In the Workspace Directory you can see:

  • A list of all of the workspaces in the portal. This includes all public and restricted workspaces.

In the workspace directory you can search for workspaces by name and description. You can sort the Workspace Directory by Name or Creation Date.

    Note Note

Personal and private workspaces are not displayed in the Workspace Directory.

    End of the note.
  • The My Workspaces panel. My Workspaces is located by default on the right-hand side of the Workspace Directory and contains the following:

    • My Personal Workspace: If you have created a personal workspace, you can find a link to it here.

For more information about personal workspaces, see Creating and Configuring a Personal Workspace.

    • My Favorites: A list of the workspaces that you have marked as your favorite workspaces.

    • I Manage: A list of the workspaces of which you are a manager.

    • Member Of: A list of the private and restricted workspaces of which you are a member. Public workspaces only appear in this list if you add them explicitly by choosing Add in the Workspace Directory.

    • My Pending Requests: A list of all of the workspaces for which you have requested membership.
