Procedure documentationAttaching a Custom Icon to a Module Template Locate this document in the navigation structure

 

You can select an icon from the image gallery, or upload an icon from the file system or from a URL. Every icon you upload is added to the image gallery. Note that it is not possible to remove icons from the image gallery.

Prerequisites

You are in the General Properties tab of a module template. For more information, see Configuring General Properties for a Module Template.

Procedure

  1. Choose Attach Custom Icon.

    The Attach Icon dialog box is displayed.

  2. Select an icon, using one of the following options:

    • Image Gallery – Select an icon

    • File System – Choose Upload to browse for the file that contains the icon and upload it.

      Supported file formats are JPG, GIF, or PNG.

      The file size, height, and width must be within the defined limits, as defined by the following properties:

      • Image Maximum Size (Bytes)

        Default: 1048576 bytes

      • Image Maximum Height

        Default: 3000 pixels

      • Image Maximum Width

        Default: 4000 pixels

      • Stored Image Maximum Height

        Default: 120 pixels

      • Stored Image Maximum Width

        Default: 120 pixels

    • URL – Provide the URL that contains the icon, and choose Upload.

  3. Choose Attach.

Configuring the Properties of an Image Used for a Custom Icon

  1. In the portal, navigate to   Content Administration   Portal Content  .

  2. In the Portal Catalog, choose   Portal Content   Portal Users   Workspace Users   Configuration   Configuration  .

  3. Open the Configuration page

  4. In the Property Category dropdown list, select Enterprise Workspaces.

  5. Configure the values of the properties and save your changes.
