Service
Registry
Select the Service Registry link to make synchronous collaboration service types active on the Portal. There are three configuration options:
...
...
1. Service Providers – used to configure attributes of service providers. Service providers are configured automatically when Collaboration is installed or a new SCF connector is loaded into the portal. Only the property “URL” needs to be modified.

For the detailed procedure to create a system, based on a portal component, see the section in the SAP library that discusses creating a system.
2. Available Service Types – used to specify which service types are available for activation from the known service provider data sources. These are automatically configured when Collaboration is installed or a new SCF Connector is loaded into the portal. No changes are required to use SCF.
3. Activated Service Types – used to specify which service types are active on the Portal from the available service types.
You can use the service registry links to enable the service types.
