Procedure

Select the Service Registry link to make synchronous collaboration service types active on the Portal.  There are three configuration options:

       1.      Service Providers   used to configure attributes of service providers. Service providers are configured automatically when Collaboration is installed or a new SCF connector is loaded into the portal. Only the property “URL” needs to be modified.

       2.      Available Service Types – used to specify which service types are available for activation from the known service provider data sources.  These are automatically configured when Collaboration is installed or a new SCF Connector is loaded into the portal. No changes are required to use SCF.

       3.      Activated Service Types – used to specify which service types are active on the Portal from the available service types.

Result

You can use the service registry links to enable the service types.
