Procedure documentationDefining Authoring Permissions Locate this document in the navigation structure

Owners of folders, areas, and pages can give other users permission to perform various actions on the object. For example, you can create an area and delegate responsibility for it to an area owner in a specialist department. The area owner can then create areas and pages within the area.

Objects inherit the permissions of the object under which they are located, unless you break the inheritance chain by changing the permissions in the object.

Procedure

  1. Select the object for which you want to define authoring permissions, and in the editor dropdown list, select Authoring Permissions.

  2. Choose Edit.
