
You can quickly insert existing objects into your model as a representative of the source object (occurrence copy) or as the basis for a new object (definition copy).

As a definition copy
You created an occurrence copy or a definition copy of the object.
If you created an occurrence copy, a new graphical representation of the source object exists. If you change the attributes of this occurrence (e.g., the name), the name of all occurrences of the source object is changed in all models.
If you created a definition copy, a new object exists whose attributes you can change as required without changing the source object.
