The Web Page Composer Overview page consists of a number of components that help Web Page Composer users find and work with the content that they need. The Overview page is provided with the following components activated by default:

  • Recently Modified

  • Bookmarks

  • Waiting for Approval

In SAP NetWeaver Administrator you can disable any of these components to remove them from the Overview page.

In addition to these components, a Find component is also available to help portal users find Web Page Composer content. This component is not included in the Overview page by default. You can add the Find component to the Overview page manually.

Procedure

  1. In SAP NetWeaver Administrator, access the Application Modules page.

    For more information, see Accessing Portal Services in SAP NetWeaver Administrator.

  2. In the Module List, find com.sap.portal.pcc.pccservices.

  3. In the Web Module Details area, find WPCConfigurationService.

  4. Configure the following properties to enable or disable the components on the Overview page:

    • portal.wpc.activateRecentlyModified

    • portal.wpc.activateBookmarks

    • portal.wpc.activateWaitingforApproval

Adding the Find Component
  1. In the portal administration environment, go to   Content Administration   Portal Content Management  .

  2. In the Portal Catalog, go to   Portal Content   Templates   WPC Templates   iViews   Personalized Overview   (pcd:portal_content/templates/pcc/iviews/PersonalizedOverview).

  3. In the context menu of the Personalized Overview page, choose   Open   Page  .

    The Personalized Overview page opens in the Page editor.

  4. In the Portal Catalog, go to   Portal Content   Content Provided by SAP   Admin Interfaces   Admin iView Templates   Portal Editors   WPC   Find  .

  5. In the context menu of the Find page, choose   Add Page to Page   Delta Link  .

    The Find component is added to the Overview page. You can change its location on the page using the Page editor functions.
