You can add more actions after you create a decision table. Actions in a decision table represent the Then section of an if-then Rule.

Possible action types in a decision table are 'Assign Action' and 'Execute Action'.

Procedure

  1. In the Project Explorer view, expand the rules composer DC node.

  2. Expand the Rules Modeling node.

  3. Expand the required ruleset, flow ruleset, or reusable ruleset node.

  4. Expand the Decision Tables node.

  5. Double-click the required decision table.

  6. In the decision table editor, choose the Action button.

  7. Perform one of the following as required:

    1. If you want to specify a single action for a condition, proceed as follows:

      1. Select Add Action.

      2. In the dialog box that appears, double-click the aliases to be included as actions in the decision table.

      3. Choose OK.

    2. If you want to specify multiple actions for a condition, select Add Other Action.
