You can import portal pages into your Web Page Composer folders and areas. Importing a page creates a copy of the page within the area. No link is maintained with the source page, and changes made to the source page are not reflected in the imported page.

As with all other Web Page Composer pages, imported pages must be published so that their content is available to portal users at runtime. For more information, see Publishing Pages.

Procedure

  1. In the portal, choose   Area Management   Content Editor  .

  2. In the navigation panel, choose the folder or area into which you want to import the page, and choose   New   Imported Page  .

By default, the Portal Content folder is displayed, however your portal administrator may have defined a different root folder for importing pages.

  3. Navigate through the Portal Content folders to find the page that you want to import.

Only pages are displayed. Other content types are hidden.

  4. Optional: Provide a new name for the page and enter a description.

  5. Choose Add.

The page is added to the folder or area.
