Creating CertificatesLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

Ensure that you have imported SAP Note 510007 Information published on SAP site - SSL Library - because otherwise error Certificate cannot be read appears.

Context

  1. Start the procedure using one of the following navigation options:

    Customizing Menu

    Start of the navigation path Customizing Next navigation step SAP NetWeaver Next navigation step Application Server Next navigation step Web Dynpro ABAP Next navigation step ACF: Creating Certificates End of the navigation path

    Transaction

    WDR_ACF_GEN_CERT

  2. Choose Generate New Certificate.
  3. Choose the Execute button (F8).

Results

The certificate was created for the SAP system.

Note A certificate must be generated for every SAP system in your landscape that whitelists are distributed from and it must be distributed to the client computer. It is not possible to transport certificates from one system to another. However, whitelists can be created in one system and then transported on to systems.
Note

If an obsolete certificate was overwritten then the new certificate must be redistributed to all end users.
