Changing Font Color of TextsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Context

You can define the coloring of following texts that is displayed in ABAP source code:

  • Communication log
  • Profiler
  • Syntax
  • WebDynpro error texts
  • WebDynpro Mapping framework theme

This makes it easier for you, skim through source code in order to distinguish for example between an ABAP keyword and elements.

Procedure

  1. Open the Start of the navigation path General Next navigation step Appearance Next navigation step Colors and Fonts End of the navigation path preference page.
  2. Expand the folders Start of the navigation path ABAP Next navigation step Syntax Coloring End of the navigation path
  3. Select the text type you want to change and click the Edit... button.
  4. Select the color and confirm with OK.
    Note To restore the default color settings, click the Restore Defaults button.

Results

The new color settings become effective as soon as you (re-)open the source code editor.
