High Availability for IBM DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows Locate this document in the navigation structure

 

To make your database server highly available, you can use one of the following high availability strategies that are built into IBM DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows (DB2 for LUW):

  • DB2 HADR (High availability disaster recovery, also referred to as “hot standby database”)

  • Cold standby databases

  • DB2 pureScale Feature
