Accessing RulesLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

  • You are allowed to access and modify objects in Integration Directory.

  • You have accessed http://[host]:[port]/dir and started Integration Builder.

Context

Note

The creation and configuration of alert rules is a task that should be performed on the central system in your PI domain. You cannot configure alert rules on decentral systems.

Procedure

  1. In the object view in Integration Builder, locate the alert rule in one of the following ways:

    • Expand Alert Rule and review the list.

    • In the pushbutton area in the object view, use the search option to find an alert rule by name.

  2. You can perform the following operations with the rules:

    • To see the details of an alert rule, select it and choose Start of the navigation path Object Next navigation step Open End of the navigation path.

    • To create a copy of an existing alert rule, select it and choose Start of the navigation path Object Next navigation step Copy Object... End of the navigation path. For more information, see Copying Objects .

    • To delete an alert rule, select it in the object view and choose Start of the navigation path Object Next navigation step Delete... End of the navigation path.
