The Favorites menu in the masthead displays a list of defined favorites. If Knowledge Management is installed on your system, all Knowledge Management favorites are also displayed in the Favorites menu.

You can add new items to the list of favorites and you can organize the defined favorites.

The Favorites menu is part of the Ajax Framework Page. If your portal uses a different framework page, you access favorites from the Portal Favorites iView in the navigation panel.

Procedure

  1. To save a page in your favorites, from the Favorites menu, choose Add to Favorites.

    The page is added to the list of favorites in the Favorites menu.

  2. To organize your favorites, choose   Favorites   Organize Favorites  

    The Organize Favorites dialog box appears where you can:

    • Add new items to your list of favorites. Choose Add to Favorites (Add to Favorites) and provide a title and URL.

    • Create folders for organizing your favorites. Choose Create Folder (Create Folder) and provide a folder name.

      Not all favorites providers allow you to create your own folders.

    • Delete items in your list of favorites.

    • Rename favorites.

    • Change the order of items in the list.

    • Move items from one folder to another using Cut and Paste.
