Printer Types with Predefined OCR Support
SAP delivers definitions for many types of printers with the SAP System, some of which include support for OCR printing; that is the print controls required for activating and deactivating OCR printing are predefined. You must still ensure that your printer has the necessary built-in or add-on capability of printing OCR characters.
The following list shows the SAP printer types that include predefined support for OCR printing:
