Repository Information System: Call
From the initial screen of the Data Modeler, there are two ways of calling the ABAP Repository Information System.
Using the menu
You can call the ABAP Repository Information System from the initial screen of the Data Modeler by choosing
Environment 
Repository Info Sys. 
. The Repository Information System screen appears.
Most of the areas are preceded by a symbol. This indicates that subareas exist. To make these subareas visible, you need to select the corresponding line and choose
Edit Expand Node . The points hidden below the node are displayed.
To allow searching for modeling objects, position the cursor on
Modeling and choose
Edit Expand Node . Under the heading
Data Modeling, you will find all the points relating to the
Data Modeler, namely Data models,
Entity Types, and
Entity Type Attributes. When you double-click one of these points, the corresponding selection screen appears.
Using a modeling object
Leaving the entry field Modeling Object empty, select the object class you require under Selection, and choose Find. The corresponding selection screen (for entity types or data models) appears.
You can call the ABAP Repository Information System from other points in the Data Modeler. You will be informed of this at the appropriate points of this documentation.
