Changing a Hierarchy: Deleting AssignmentsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Process

To remove one or more objects from the hierarchy, proceed as follows:

  1. Select the objects to be removed by positioning the cursor on each of the objects and activating Select/Deselect Node (for entity types) or Sel./Desel. Subtree (for data models).

  2. Choose Start of the navigation path Modeling Object Next navigation step Delete Assignment End of the navigation path.

The objects are automatically removed from the hierarchy.

Note

You cannot remove an object from the hierarchy without also removing all its subordinate objects.

Delete Assignment only removes objects from the data model hierarchy in question.
