Deleting Archived Data from the Database with XML DAS 
In XML DAS data archiving, deletion of archived data from the database is different from the deletion in ADK archiving.
Prerequisites
In the Customizing settings specific to XML archiving objects, you have specified the manual start of the delete job.
Note
You can also start the delete job automatically after the write phase by making the appropriate Customizing settings. In this case, exactly one delete jobs occurs for each write job. Parallel delete job are not possible with manual delete jobs.
Procedure
In the SAP system (AS ABAP), start Archive administration (transaction SARA)).
In the Object Name field, enter the name of the XML archiving object.
Choose Delete.
Choose Archive Selection.
Select the archiving sessions to be deleted, than choose Continue.
Under Number of Delete Jobs, enter how many delete jobs are to run in parallel during an archiving session.
Enter the start date and the spool parameter.
