You use the project check to check the consistency of forms and controls in an XML Forms Builder project. The system issues the messages in the table below in the info area.

Types of Message

Message Type

Description

Error

Error messages indicate that the project may not work.

You can generate the project even if there are error messages, but you should eliminate the errors in question and then generate the project again.

Warning

Warnings indicate that the project should work. However, they contain important information that you should pay attention to.

Information

Messages of this type serve only to provide you with information.

Procedure

  • To start a project check manually, choose   Extras   Check Project.

  • To define whether you want the system to start a project check when you save or generate a project, choose   Options   Project  and activate or deactivate the Check Project on Save option.

    Note Note

When you click a message in the info area, the system highlights the affected control in the form.

    End of the note.

    Note Note

If you receive a message telling you that labels in your project allow HTML output, read HTML Code in Label Controls.

If you receive a message telling you that the system is displaying a GUID instead of a name, read Defining the Names of XML Files.

    End of the note.
