XML Forms Builder
With the XML Forms Builder, you enhance the forms for news items and FAQs contained in the delivery or create new forms for form-based publishing.
You can use the following screen areas when working with the XML Forms Builder:

This area is for executing functions and adding controls to forms using Drag&Drop.
The data model is a structured description of the data that authors store in XML forms. The system writes this data to an XML file or to the properties of this file.
In the data schema, you define the structure of the elements in which you store the data in the XML file. You can assign the elements of the data schema to namespaces in accordance with the XML standard.
Each XML document has document properties, such as the date when it was last changed. You can display the values of these properties in XML forms. You can also use changeable properties to store data that authors enter in the Edit form.
You manage the project forms in the Project Browser. You can carry out the following actions with forms:
Open
Close
Create
Duplicate
Delete
In this area, you can display or change the properties of the items of the data model (elements of the data schema, namespaces, and document properties).
In this area, you arrange controls on your forms.
This area displays all controls of a form in an overview tree.
This table displays the properties of the active form or control.
To display the properties of a control, click the control in question.
