Procedure documentationReleasing Object Lists/Transport Requests for Translation Locate this document in the navigation structure

If you need a specific set of objects to be translated but do not want to run evaluations for them, you can create an object list for the objects so that translators can then use the object list to call up their personal worklists. To enable this to happen, you must release the object list for translation.

You can also use a piece list to call up a personal worklist, without creating an object list. However, you then skip the analyses that take place when the object list is created. Calling up a personal worklist takes longer as a result.

Prerequisites

  • An object list has been created in transaction LXE_MASTER according to your requirements, or a transport request/piece list has been created in transaction SE01.

  • Your translator profile includes the authorization object PREL with the value 01.

Procedure

  1. Call transaction LXE_MASTER.

  2. Choose   Settings   User Settings   (or select theUser Settings (User Settings) icon in the toolbar).

On the Lists tab page, all of the target languages in the system are listed in the Language column.

  3. If you want to release an object list, enter the number of the object list in the Object List column in the row for the required target language. You can also use the input help function to select the object list.

  4. If you want to release a transport request/piece list, enter the name of the piece list/transport request in the Piece List column in the row for the required target language. You can also use the input help function to select the piece list/transport request.

  5. Save your entries.

Result

Translators who are defined for the target language and have the appropriate authorizations can now call up a personal worklist in transaction SE63 using the object list or transport request.
