Choose  SAP Menu Tools IDoc Interface/ALE Development IDoc IDoc Type Development IDoc Type for Message (WE82) .

Choose and then New Entries.

Enter the basic type, its extension and the message type to which you are assigning this combination. Specify the current release.

The partner profiles check whether the IDoc type and message type match each other. You must therefore make this entry. You also get specific F4 Help from the mapping: All assigned IDoc types are offered in the corresponding field for each message type and vice versa.
