This Easy Web Transaction (EWT) enables employees to initiate a call using a Web browser.

Integration

The telephony function can be called from any Internet application, provided that the application supports the function. As of 4.6A, the EWT Who is Who supports the function Initiate call.

Authorizations/security

You do not require special authorization to initiate a call.

Standard Settings and Default Data

For the EWT Initiate call, you must have configured SAPphone. Work center identification by host name or a mixed identification must be set. The telephone work center is created automatically on a computer the first time the function is executed.

Features

The EWT telephone function is limited to initiating a call.

Service name

The service name of this EWT is SPHW. All associated files can be found in the SAP System under this name.
