ABAP Runtime Environment (BC-ABA)

SAP specific format for storing XML files in binary form. In binary XML, redundant information is suppressed and UTF-8 coding is used, which leads to performance benefits when storing and transporting data. Binary XML is used both on AS ABAP and AS Java.
