Configuring the Default KM Resource Archiving Object
If your Knowledge Management and Collaboration (KMC) archiving scenario requires it, you can modify the default configuration of the KM resource archiving object.
You have the System Admin portal role assigned to your user.
In the portal, navigate to and switch to Advanced mode.
Choose , and then choose Edit.
Configure the parameters according to your requirements:
The following table provides an overview of the resource archiving object parameters:
Parameter |
Description |
|---|---|
Repository Services |
Repository services that archive data as part of the KM resource archiving object. By default, there are no repository services activated for the KM resource archiving object. You can optionally activate the following collaboration services:
Metadata based on KM application properties is archived as plain text. End of the note.
Though the system allows you to select any of the repository services displayed in the Repository Services parameter, only the services listed above would archive data as part of the archiving object if selected. End of the note. |
Get Notification Recipient from Property |
Resource property that is used to define the recipient of notifications and archiving approval e-mails. This property determines the owner of the plain resource archiving object. For more information, see Archiving Landscape.
The Get Notification Recipient from Property dropdown list contains all resource properties available in the system, but only properties of type User can be used. Therefore, you must select a property of type User. For more information about resource property types, see Predefined Properties. End of the note. |
The KM resource archiving object is preconfigured in the standard delivery. By default, the property specified for the Get Notification Recipient from Property parameter is createdby. Therefore, the default archiving object owner is the user who has created the resource. You do not need to change the configuration of the KM resource archiving object unless you want to change the default archiving object owner.
