Defining Uploads (Directory -> Server)Locate this document in the navigation structure

With this part of the whitelist you define
  • from which local start directories from which it is to be possible to upload files to locations outside of the system landscape.
  • to which target servers outside of your system landscape it is allowed to upload files.
Procedure: Define the Start Directory
Note The steps of this section are necessary if the ACFUpDownload Control or Microsoft Project Integration is used.
  1. Ensure that you are in the Change "Whitelist" View: Overview view.
  2. Select the line of the whitelist DEFAULT in the table and then open the folder Upload (Directory -> Server) with a double-click. You are now on the Change "Upload (Directory -> Server) Screen: Overview screen. Here you can list different directories and servers for the upload process for the selected whitelist:
  3. Choose the button New Entries (F5) again.
  4. Position your cursor in the upper table field of the Whitelist column and press the F4 button to open the input help. As you had already selected the whitelist in the previous setp, you now just get a select list offered to you in this step. Select the list and close the selection dialog box.
  5. Position the cursor in the relevant table field of the File Storage column and enter the required Start Directory for files to the uploaded to the table.
    Example
Whitelist File Store Fil.Storage (type of file storage)
    DEFAULT C:\SAP\inout Directory
  6. Save your entries using the Save(Ctrl + S) button. From this local directory the upload of files is now permitted, as long as the whitelist is used (prerequisite).

To create further start directories for the upload, repeat the steps described above.

Procedure: Define the Target Server
Note The steps of this section are necessary if the ACFUpDownload Control is used.
Position the cursor in the next table field of the Whitelist column and repeat the procedure described above to define a required Target Server for files to be uploaded outside your system landscape:
Example
Whitelist File Store Fil.Storage (type of file storage)
DEFAULT http://mykproserver:2013
Note Ensure that the spelling of the server address when called by the application corresponds exactly to the spelling in the white list. If you want to ensure that a server address can be recognized as permissible with different spellings, include additional spellings of the same address (such as the fully-qualified-domain-name (FQDN)) in the whitelist:

http://mykproserver.intranet.com:2013

Server
Note You can find a selection of all available content repositories using transaction OACT. Detailed information on the individual content repositories is found using transaction CSADMIN.

To create further target servers for the upload, repeat the steps described above.
