Configuration of the Who’s Who
iView
By configuring the Who’s Who iView, you can influence the search for users and the display of the results list.
The following configuration objects delivered by SAP are relevant for configuring the Who’s Who iView:
· Indexable UME properties
Path in the portal: System Administration → System Configuration → Knowledge Management → Content Management → Global Services → Property Metadata → Properties
In the default setting, the following UME properties are flagged as indexable:
¡ displayname (user’s first and last name)
¡ uniquename (user ID)
¡ email (user’s e-mail address)

You can use indexable UME properties as a search criterion in the Who’s Who iView. To define a UME property (technical name begins with ume) as a search criterion, call up the UME property for editing and select the Indexable flag.
· Layout sets
Path in the portal: System Administration → System Configuration → Knowledge Management → Content Management → User Interface → Settings → Layout Sets
¡ WhoIsWhoLayoutSet
Determines the layout of the wide iView variant.
¡ WhoIsWhoNarrowLayoutSet
Determines the layout of the narrow iView variant.

Each layout set references a corresponding object in the Collection List Renderer Settings.
· Collection list renderer settings
Path in the portal: System Administration → System Configuration → Knowledge Management → Content Management → User Interface → Settings → Collection Renderer Settings → Collection List Renderer Settings
¡ WhoIsWhoListRendererSettings
Definition
of the results list for the wide iView variant, for example,
availability
status icon, user name with
context menu, user
ID, telephone number.
¡ WhoIsWhoNarrowListRendererSettings
Definition of the results list for the narrow iView variant, for example, availability status icon and user name with context menu.
You define the columns of the results list in the Displayed Properties field for the list renderers in question. In the default setting, the following metadata is used (syntax: <namespace alias>:<property ID>)
§ col:peopleResource (icon, user name, and context menu)
§ ume:uniquename (user ID)
§ ume:telephone (user’s telephone number)
§ ume:mobile (user’s mobile telephone number)
