If you are using the Light Framework Page to operate and navigate in the portal, you must add the Collaboration Detailed Navigation iView to the page in order to provide the detailed navigation for rooms. This iView allows you to navigate in Collaboration Rooms and to access pages that contain specific services and functions. For more information about the detailed navigation for rooms, see the figure in Creating Rooms.

Prerequisites

The Content Administration portal role is assigned to your user.

Procedure

  1. In the portal, navigate to   Content Administration   Portal Content Management   Portal Content   Portal Users   Standard Portal Users   Light Framework Page  .

  2. To prevent the system overwriting your settings during the next update, copy the Light Framework Page.

  3. In the context menu of (the copy of) Light Framework Page, choose   Open   Page  .

    The system displays the page content and the page layout settings.

    Note Note

    If you are using variants of the Light Framework Page for different user groups, make sure that the settings are changed in all variants. Otherwise, the corresponding services are not available for all portal users.

  4. Select the Light Desktop Innerpage page, and then choose Open.

  5. In the portal, navigate to   Content Administration   Portal Content Management   Portal Content   Content Provided by SAP   End User Content   Standard Portal Users   Collaboration   iViews  .

  6. Select the Collaboration Detailed Navigation iView, and then choose   Add iView to Page   Delta Link   in the context menu.

  7. Save your changes.
