Managing Subscriptions 
In the Enterprise Services Browser, you subscribe to an interface object if you want to receive e-mail notifications of changes made to the object. You receive notifications when an interface object is modified or deleted. For service interfaces, you can also choose to receive notifications when you classify or publish a service interface.
Use this procedure to subscribe and unsubscribe to notifications.
Prerequisites
You have opened the Enterprise Services Repository perspective in SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio. For more information, see Working with Enterprise Services in SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio.
Optional: Your e-mail address is provided in the User Management Engine (UME).
Procedure
Subscribe to Notifications
In the Enterprise Services Browser view, select the object that you want to subscribe for.
In the context menu of the object, choose Manage Subscription.
The New Subscription dialog box appears.
In the Notification Event section, select the events for which you want to receive notifications.
To receive an e-mail notification, select one of the following options:
Use UME E-mail Address: The system retrieves your e-mail address from the data provided in the UME.
Specify E-mail Address: Enter an e-mail address.
Choose OK.
Unsubscribe to Notifications
In My Subscriptions view, select the subscription you want to unsubscribe and in the context menu, choose Unsubscribe.
Confirm the pop-up.
NoteFrom My Subscriptions view, you can edit a subscription and open the subscribed object.

Result
You receive an e-mail notification when the object you have subscribed to is changed.
From the e-mail notification, you can choose to:
Send an e-mail to the user who modified the object.
Open the modified object in the Web UI.
