Description

The OBN Accelerator monitors enable you to view information regarding the OBN (object-based navigation) cache. OBN caching considerably improves the performance of navigation to previously used targets in a production environment.

The OBN Accelerator monitors are located in the Monitor Browser of SAP NetWeaver Administrator. For more information, see Activating and Viewing Portal Monitors in SAP NetWeaver Administrator.

Monitored Data

When enabled, the monitors each show different information, as follows:

Accelerated Roles

Lists the portal roles that are currently cached

Accelerated Semantic Objects

Lists the business objects that are currently cached

Configuration

Lists the status of the configuration properties that are used by the OBN cache

State

Indicates whether the OBN cache is activated. For more information, see Activating the OBN Cache.
