Integrating Lotus Domino Using
iNotes
The sections below explain how to integrate Lotus Domino into SAP Enterprise Portal 7.2 using iNotes.
· You need to have configured Lotus Domino 5.0.12 or above for iNotes access. This document does not address the configuration required for iNotes. For more information on deployment and configuration, see iNotes Web Access on the IBM iSeries Server.
·
WebMailRedirect
Users have to specify the URL of their e-mail databases to access their e-mail
files. This is quite inconvenient and difficult to remember for users
especially if the design includes having a multi-level of subdirectories to
divide users by department or organization unit.
However, Domino WebMailRedirect provides an advanced front portal for
redirecting users to their e-mail files. Domino URLs are often hard to manage
or remember, and with this the administrator needs to point users to the root
URL.
