Configuring Destinations to ABAP System for Units of MeasureLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

  • You have the Administrator role assigned to your user.

  • You have access to a back-end system with UoM end points.

Context

You configure destinations to the ABAP system where the units of measure (UoM) data exists to be able to connect to the ABAP system and synchronize the UoM data.

Procedure

  1. Open SAP NetWeaver Administrator:

    http://<hostname>:<port>/nwa and navigate to Start of the navigation path Configuration  Next navigation step Infrastructure Next navigation step Unit of Measure Administration Next navigation step Synchronization End of the navigation path.

  2. Select Destination Configuration and then open the Consumer Proxies tab page.
  3. Choose the Go pushbutton without entering any data. When the interfaces are shown in the table, enter sea in the Namespace field and press ENTER to filter the results.
  4. Select DimensionCodeListQueryResponse_In and navigate to Start of the navigation path Details Next navigation step Configuration End of the navigation path.
  5. In the Logical Port table, select binding and choose the Set as Default pushbutton.
  6. In the Details about binding Logical Port table, open the General tab page and choose the Edit pushbutton.
  7. Enter the end point URL:

    http://<backend_system_host>:<backend_system_port>/sap/bc/srt/xip/sap/ecc_dimncodelistqr/000/ecc_dimncodelistqr/binding

  8. On the Security tab page, select HTTP Authentication and select the User ID/Password (Basic) radio button.
  9. Choose the Details pushbutton and specify the username and password.
  10. Repeat the above steps to configure the UnitOfMeasureQueryResponse_In available in the Interfaces table. The end point URL you need to enter in this case is http://<backend_system_host>:<backend_system_port>/sap/bc/srt/xip/sap/unitofmeasurequeryresponse_in/000/unitofmeasurequeryresponse_in/binding
