You can remove PCD (Portal Content Directory) personalization data for specific users or specific objects in your portal. Cleaning up personalization data may be necessary to solve problems that are related to a specific user or to a specific object in the portal.

You can remove personalization data for:

  • All objects personalized by all users

  • All objects personalized by a specific user

  • All users who personalized a specific object

You can also remove all unused personalization data. We recommend removing unused personalization data on a periodic basis. The removal of unused personalization data may impact portal performance while the operation is taking place. However, as a result of the cleanup, portal performance may improve.
