You can monitor the portal using the Computing Center Management System (CCMS) in conjunction with the SAP Solution Manager. The SAP Solution Manager provides the integrated content, tools, and methodologies that you need to implement, support, operate, and monitor your enterprise's solutions from SAP.

Using JMX Monitors

CCMS enables you to monitor aspects of the portal using the J2EE Engine monitoring framework. To do this, in CCMS, choose   Tools   CCMS   Control Data/Monitoring   CCMS Monitor Sets   or use Transaction RZ20.

In the tree of the CCMS monitor sets under the Portal node, you can access the following monitor nodes:

  • Configuration

  • Portal Runtime

  • String Buffer Pool

  • Portal Runtime Cache

Only active portal monitors are available in CCMS. For more information about activating portal monitors, see Activating and Viewing Portal Monitors in SAP NetWeaver Administrator.
