Once scheduled processes are initiated, the system logs schedule execution statuses in the schedule history. Using the tools of the Administration workset, you can monitor the status of these schedules and identify the ones that have not completed their execution.
If a certain schedule remains in status In Process for more than a few seconds, it is likely that this schedule is hanging. Hanging schedules cannot be processed due to a system failure or unreported status of execution.
In such cases, you can take the appropriate actions to resolve them:
See: Portal Roles
Identifying and Managing Hanging Schedules
You can see all hanging schedules listed with specific details, such as planned execution time, processor, the error mode of the schedule.
The status of the schedule changes to Completed.
The schedule is then handled depending on the error mode set for it. It may be dismissed or executed again.
