Procedure documentationExtracting Data for a Device Locate this document in the navigation structure

If the data objects associated with a device are not enabled for synchronization (sync enabled), then you must manually extract data for that particular device in the Data Orchestration Engine (DOE).

Note Note

All the data objects in the production environment are sync enabled. In the test environment, you may not sync enable some of the data objects for test purposes. For example, you want to count the number of data object instances that are transferred to a device when you trigger data extract for that particular device. In this case, you must not set the status of the data objects associated with the specified device as sync enabled.

End of the note.
