Use this procedure to define the basic parameters of an action.
The action's design time opens.
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
|
Name |
Enter an arbitrary name for the action. Note
Use a comprehensible name because it is used to identify the action in the GP runtime as well. |
|
Description |
Enter a brief description for the action - for example, describe what it does.
To provide relevant version-specific information or comments, you can use the Additional Info tab in the action's design time once you have created it. Several rules and restrictions apply when you add or edit info:
|
|
Original Language |
This field shows the language, in which the action definition is created. You choose the original language in Step 2 of the procedure. It is considered for translation purposes. |
|
Folder |
By default, either the Root folder is displayed, or a folder that you have selected before creating the action. To select another folder from the gallery where the action is to be stored, use Change. |
You have created the action object. To be able to activate and use it in a process, you must attach callable objects to it. For more information, see Attaching Callable Objects .
