System administration has added the Trigger Event Data Change process type to the process chains for data loading.
System administration has defined background jobs that enable the scheduling of broadcast settings at predefined times.
1. If you have just created a new broadcast setting, press the Schedule button in BEx Broadcaster.
If you want to schedule a broadcast setting from the list of the available broadcast settings in the upper area in the BEx Broadcaster screen, choose Scheduling in the context menu for the required broadcast setting.
2. You have the following selection options:
○ Execution with Data Change in the InfoProvider:
Select the required InfoProvider.
The system distributes the document as soon as data in this InfoProvider is changed.

This option is only available if the system administration has included the Trigger Event Data Change process type in the process chain for loading data (see Prerequisites).
○ Execution at a Preset Time:
Select the required time.
The system distributes the document according to your time selection.

This option is only available if the system administration has defined the relevant background jobs (see Prerequisites).
○ Scheduling in SAP Background Processing:
...
i. Select Create New Scheduling and specify the required start date and time.
ii. If scheduling is to occur periodically, select Periodic and specify the interval (for example Every 2 Weeks).
The system distributes the document according to your time selection.
If you have already defined scheduled in SAP background processing for this broadcast setting, they are listed here. You can delete them as required.

You can only schedule in SAP background processing if you have authorization to create background jobs.
3. Choose Apply.
The broadcast setting is displayed in the BEx Broadcaster screen, and Yes is displayed in the Scheduled column.
You have scheduled a broadcast setting. The document is distributed at the specified time or if the data changes.

If there are multiple broadcast settings, or if there are broadcast settings that require user-specific processing for different users, the scheduled settings are processed in parallel. Your system administrator can control parallel processing for information broadcasting in BW background management (transaction RSBATCH, process type BROADCAST).
