Defining test procedure parameters in the start profile is the first of three steps that will enable you to use start profile test procedure data:

Procedure

To define test procedure parameters in the start profile, proceed as follows:

  1. Call transaction SECATT.

  2. Choose Start Profile.

  3. Create the start profile or select the start profile to display.

  4. Select the Data for Test Proc. tab.

  5. Enter the relevant parameter data, such as the description, the default value, and the parameter reference. You can do this for simple and structured parameters.

  6. Save the profile.

Result

You have defined the parameters to be used for the test procedure globally in the start profile. You can now assign the start profile test procedure parameters to the test configuration variants.
