If you want to execute data archiving on the basis of XML Data Archiving Service (XML DAS), you can view the hierarchy of stored data in the Store Browser. The Store Browser shows you the store hierarchy created by XML DAS as well as the store's physical hierarchy.

Procedure

  1. In the application system (AS Java), call up SAP NetWeaver Administrator (NWA).

  2. Select   Operations   Data and Databases   Store Browser  .

    Alternatively, you can call up the Store Browser with the quick link /nwa/ilm-storebrw.

  3. Use the functions of the Store Browser.

    Function

    Description

    Switch View

    You can use the Switch View pushbutton to alternate between the following views:

    • Archive Hierarchy View: All archive hierarchies managed by XML Data Archiving Service

    • Store View All physical stores registered with XML DAS and their archive hierarchies

    Click a hierarchy note to display its detail data.

    Set Filter

    In each view, you can either display the entire hierarchy or set a filter. The following filter options are offered in a selection list:

    • Type of archive file, for example, ADK files, ArchiveLink references

    • Hierarchy nodes

    Hierarchy Branch

    By entering a hierarchy node, you can position the cursor on the relevant hierarchy branch.

    Find

    You can use the search function to find individual resources or collections based on the corresponding criteria. You can show or hide the search dialog using the relevant pushbutton.

    Configure Access Control

    By using the context menu of a hierarchy node, you can call up and edit the related access control list.

    Display content

    For XML resources only: To display the contents of a resource, use the context menu.
