Procedure documentationCreating a New Logon Group Locate this document in the navigation structure

You can create a new logon group in one of the following ways:

  • Create a new logon group with no settings;

    You then configure the cluster instances and the applications that are part of this group from scratch.

  • Create a new logon group by copying an existing one;

    You then modify the settings of the original group. This is a useful method, for example, in case you need your new group to include the same cluster instances but a different application must be accessible within it.
