Analyzing Heap Dumps 
Use Heap Dump Analysis to make an expert system analysis of your AS Java. When the system detects a memory leak, you can view, generate, archive and download heap dumps. You can also delete them later.
To access the tool, choose .
Choose Generate Heap Dump. A dialog window appears.
Select a server process (node) and choose OK.
The new heap dump is displayed in the table.
Select the relevant heap dump.
Choose Archive.
Note
The Archive button is enabled if the selected heap dump has not been archived before and if no archiving is running on the same server process.
A confirmation dialog window appears. Choose OK.
In the Archive Size column, a progress bar is displayed showing the archiving process in percent (%).
Select the relevant heap dump.
Choose Download.
Note
The Download button is enabled if an archive has been created for the selected heap dump.
Save the downloaded content in your local file system.
Select the relevant heap dump.
Choose the Remove or Remove Archive button, accordingly.
A confirmation dialog window appears.
If your file system is out of memory because of too many heap dumps, a Delete column appears with a red
indication.
To delete old and obsolete heap dumps, select them and choose Remove.
You can easily find out if a system leak occurred using the primary monitoring System Overview tool.
