You can specify references to other applications, libraries, services, or interfaces. In this way, an application can reuse the resources of existing components.

Procedure

Adding References

  1. In the context menu of the application-j2ee-engine.xml, choose Edit Runtime References

  2. Choose the Add Element (Add Element) pushbutton.

  3. If you want to specify a new reference, choose Create New. If you want to select libraries from a list, choose Select Application Libraries.

  4. In the entry fields that appear in the right pane, enter the required information. In the Reference target type you specify whether you want to create an application, library, service, or interface reference.

  5. Choose Apply, then choose OK.

Removing References

  1. Under the References node, select the reference.

  2. Choose the Remove Element (Remove Element) pushbutton.
