The information displayed in these sections is helpful for analyzing performance issues.

Activities

Connections

This section provides detailed information about open connections.

To display a full SQL statement, select a row and choose Display Statement String.

To display this information in SAP HANA studio:

  1. Open Administration.

  2. Go to the System Information tab.

  3. Open Connections.

Connection Statistics

This section provides information about open connections, such as network IO statistics.

To display this information in SAP HANA studio:

  1. Open Administration.

  2. Go to the System Information tab.

  3. Open Connection Statistics.

Transactions

This section displays open transactions.

To display this information in SAP HANA studio:

  1. Open Administration.

  2. Go to the System Information tab.

  3. Open Transactions.

Caches

This section provides information about caches created by SAP HANA database. The Total Size column shows the size of the available caches.

To display this information in SAP HANA studio:

  1. Open Administration.

  2. Go to the System Information tab.

  3. Open Caches.

Large Tables

This section provides information about the largest tables in SAP HANA system.

This information is helpful for analyzing performance and system dimensions. You can see the table sizes in main memory, the delta sizes, and the fastest growing tables.

SQL Workload

This section provides an overview of statements that were executed.

To display this information in SAP HANA studio:

  1. Open Administration.

  2. Go to the System Information tab.

  3. Open Overall Workload.

Others

This section shows all the system information that is not included elsewhere.
