Cross-Application Components (CA)

ABAP Dictionary domain with the same business semantics as another domain.

If the sender report and receiver report for a characteristic with identical business semantics use different data elements and data elements when reports are chained using the report-to-report interface, these domains are semantically equivalent and can be mapped to each other. This is the prerequisite for automatic data exchange using the report-to-report interface.
