CMS Administration Guide

Purpose

The SAP NetWeaver Development Infrastructure (NWDI) provides you with tools for building and administering a comprehensive development infrastructure. Administration tasks in the NWDI can include setting up a development landscape, making software transports, and monitoring these processes.

To edit configuration tasks and transport tasks in the Change Management Service (CMS), you can use the following tools:

●      Landscape Configurator

You use the Landscape Configurator to configure tracks and system landscapes. You can also define the development configurations for your work in SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio. See Setting Up Development Landscapes.

●      Transport Studio

You use the Transport Studio to transport software changes, perform quality assurance measures, and assemble new versions of software components for shipment. See Transports with the NWDI: Transport Studio.
