Metadata and Document Management
The Metadata and Document Management IT process allows you to manage metadata, documents, and documentation. You can access metadata in BI (BI objects and important properties such as links to other objects) centrally from a repository and exchange it between the BI systems in your system landscape. You can create documents for metadata, master data and InfoProvider data in different languages and formats, search in documents and index them. You can create documents as online documents for BI objects and use them, along with the information about the objects available in the system, to create technically and semantically complete object documentation. You can integrate BI documents into portal-based knowledge management.
