Configuring Principal Propagation
You use this function to configure principal propagation in the current client <client>. By activating the configuration, you ensure that the user context in message processing remains the same across all asynchronous boundaries, and when message processing is restarted.
You can only activate the configuration if you have kernel patch 76 installed.
...
1. In the Integration Engine menu, choose Configuration ® Configure Principal Propagation.
2. Activate principal propagation. A corresponding message is displayed.
The necessary technical prerequisites for principal propagation within the XI runtime are fulfilled when you activate:
● System user XIPPUSER is created with the role of the service user PIAPPLUSER.
● The RFC destination SAPXIPP<client> is created and the user XIPPUSER is saved as the logon user in the destination.
● An activation indicator is set.
You also have to
perform some
additional
configuration steps.
