Enabling Enterprise Services 

The administration of the scenario Enabling Enterprise Services covers the administration of user authorizations and the administration of the Web service runtime for the scenario variants Point-to-Point Service-Based Integration and Brokered Service-Based Integration.

The following is a description of the scenario-specific administration tasks for both areas.

Prerequisites

The main prerequisite for the administration of the IT scenario Enabling Enterprise Services are the following technical usage types of SAP NetWeaver:

●      AS ABAP

●      AS Java

For the Enhanced Service-Oriented Integration variant, the following usage type is also required:

●      PI - Process Integration (XI)

These technical usage types must be installed and configured. In particular, automatic Customizing must be executed. For more information about automatic Customizing, see SAP Solution Manager.
