Creating Communication Channels Automatically 

Use

This function supports you when creating communication channels for business systems that are defined in the System Landscape Directory.

Communication channels are created automatically for these business systems, based on the data entered in the System Landscape Directory.

This function is supported for the following adapter types:

·        XI Adapter

·        HTTP Adapter

·        IDoc Adapter

·        RFC Adapter

Activities

...

       1.      To call this function, in the Integration Builder (Configuration) main menu, choose Tools ® Create Communication Channels Automatically.

       2.      Choose Continue.

       3.      Select the required business systems. Use the checkboxes for this purpose.

       4.      Choose Finish.

Result

Communication channels are automatically created for the selected business systems.

Note that you must complete the mandatory fields and customize the communication channel to meet you requirements before you activate it.
